I am Asif Ehsan Sharwani, a dedicated and dynamic Lecturer and IT Manager with a Master’s in Information Technology and over 17 years of experience in teaching, research, curriculum development, and technology operations management.
As a lecturer, my passion lies in creating a student-centered learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and academic excellence. My commitment to engaging students through interactive, collaborative teaching approaches has allowed me to offer ample opportunities for intellectual and personal development.
Beyond the classroom, my role as an IT manager has seen me managing and optimizing technology operations across various sectors. With a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, I have successfully implemented complex projects and delivered innovative solutions that drive business growth.
My areas of expertise encompass a broad range of IT fields, including system administration and maintenance, network infrastructure and security, cloud computing and virtualization, database management, web development and programming, cybersecurity and risk management, IT project management, software development and coding, data analytics and visualization, and more.
I am also a lifelong learner and have earned numerous certifications, including Digital Marketing E-Commerce, Data Visualization Using Tableau, Deep Learning Classification for A.I., and Microsoft Certified Professional, among others. Currently, I am pursuing an MBA in Data Analytics from the International American University in Los Angeles, USA.
My career has also seen me serve in various capacities such as the Head of the IT Department, Chairperson of the Department of General Education, Lecturer in the School of Information Technology, and IT Manager in the Department of Information Tech.
I have also contributed to the academic community through my research and conference participation, with noteworthy contributions in the realm of educational technology and cybersecurity.
